Manly Harbour Backpackers is located 30 minutes from Brisbane Central. We are situated 50 metres from the waters edge in Manly Harbour Village.

TRAVELLING TO MANLY BY CAR

Manly is located about 20 kms east of Brisbane city, and the journey time is approximately 30 minutes. Manly can be easily reached by car and is also easily recognisable. Once you see the bay and the boats you’ll know you’re there.

FROM BRISBANE CITY – Head north-east on Queen St towards Creek St  
Turn right at Adelaide St  
Turn right at Boundary St 
Slight left at Ivory St  
Take the ramp on the right to Bradfield Hwy  
Slight right at Bradfield Hwy 
Take the ramp onto Bradfield Hwy 
Slight left to stay on Bradfield Hwy 
Continue onto Shafston Ave 
Continue onto Lytton Rd  
Continue onto Wynnum Rd 
Continue onto Balmoral St  
Slight right at Wynnum Rd 
Slight left to stay on Wynnum Rd

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Preston Rd. Go through 1 roundabout

Turn right at Wynnum Rd
Stay on Wynnum Rd

FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT
Cross the Gateway Bridge to the south and then take the Wynnum Road exit to Manly.

TRAVELLING TO MANLY BY TRAIN

FROM BRISBANE CITY – Jump on the Cleveland line and head for Manly Station. From Manly Station either phone us for a free pick up (if we’re available) OR take a 5-minute walk to Manly Village (its all down hill). From the station – Head east on Yamboyna St towards Mountjoy Tce. Take the 2nd left on to Carlton Tce. Slight right at Ferguson St. Upstairs, 45 Cambridge Parade Manly QLD 4179

Downtown Brisbane is only a 35 minute ride away. Trains depart Manly station at 5 minutes to every hour and 25 minutes past every hour, with more regular services early morning and late afternoon bring workers too and from the city. The trains are as regular to Cleveland (access to Straddie) and depart a couple of minutes prior to these times.

FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT – Catch the Air train to Brisbane city and then get the next train out to Manly on the Cleveland Line. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes (from the city to Manly).
