HERE’S WHAT OUR GUESTS HAVE TO SAY:

“hey yeahhh i will miss the amaaazing ozz and for sure the best backpacker in australia had a very great time with nice people and good hostel staff Felt like a family there so keep the things in memory forever…” Daniel Fichte

I was supposed to stay 3 days, go to Moreton Island, and go….I stayed more than 6 weeks and I\’m sad to leave this place. The staff is REALLY friendly, more than you can ever expect when you go in a hostel. There\’s not a lot of things to do in Manly itself but it\’s not far from the city. The most valuable activity in Manly is the free sailing session every wednesday..really nice experience, never the same boat because a lot of owners. Life was good here but I have to keep traveling!!

The owners are very good people, always ready to give an hand to the travelers. The hostel is an oasis compared to other hostels in Brissy city.

Without doubt, the nicest, cheapest and the place that most felt like home in all the hostels we’ve stayed at in Australia so far. Ok, you need to catch a train into Brisbane itself, but being on the harbour and just the location of the hostel makes up for a mere half an hour on the train. They also run the bistro next door, and offer money off on specials . . the food was amazing, and well worth it. the owners are very friendly and would without doubt do everything possible to ensure that your stay is great, as our was. go check it out.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It\’s out of the city and away from the hussle and bustle which was exactly what I was looking for after getting fed up with the big city hostels. It was quiet and relaxed although there is a good bar/restaurant attached if you want a few drinks, as well as quite a rowdy bar across the road, if that\’s what you\’re after! The hostel needs a little modernising but the new owners are aware of that and they have plans. If they match the restaurant it should be great.

Iain, Scotland | Male 25-30  I stayed here for a couple of weeks as i am doing some work near Wynnum and i loved the Hostel. I like the fact that the place is not overflowing with tourists from the Uk and you don’t have people in your face all day long! I would think that you could not do better than this hostel!

This hostel is good and warm.  People living and working here are nice.  There is one thing that guests shouldn’t miss, that is the Wed sailing.  That would be the greatest experience to have in Brisbane.”
 Cheers,
 Christy
